Register now for Random Happenings on Wednesday, February 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the Harry Ransom Center on the UT campus, 300 West 21st St. The Ransom Center is a highly regarded archiving library and humanities research center that houses many important literary and cultural artifacts, including a rare Gutenberg Bible. We will have a private group tour of the current special exhibition “Live from New York: The Lorne Michaels Collection”. This exhibit features many items spanning the career of Michaels from his time as a writer for Rowen & Martin’s Laugh-In through 50 years of Saturday Night Live. Admission is free and the Center welcomes voluntary donations to support its work. Deadline to register is February 20th.
