Register now for Random Happenings on Wednesday, January 28th, at 1:40 p.m. at the Blanton Museum of Art on the UT campus, 200 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. We will have a private group tour of the current special exhibition “Spirit & Splendor: El Greco, Velazquez and the Hispanic Baroque”. This exhibit features 57 masterpieces from the esteemed collection of The Hispanic Society Museum and incorporates 150 years of Spanish painting. Attendees will also have access to “Austin” by Ellsworth Kelly at the Museum. The tour will commence at 2 p.m., so plan to arrive by 1:40 to allow time to purchase your ticket. Cost: $20 / $17 for seniors 65+/ $5 for Museum members, payable at check-in. Parking information and the Museum check-in location will be provided prior to the event. After the tour, we’ll take a short walk to a nearby establishment for an afternoon snack and/or beverage.
