Dear Fellow Newcomers and Friends,
It must be October because Halloween merchandise is everywhere and the air is just a bit crisper. Austin City Limits Festival kicks off the first two weekends of the month and Longhorn football is off to strong start. What a great time of year!
Our Newcomers and Friends Club interest groups have planned lots of intriguing activities for October. Wines of the World will be exploring wines from Catalonia and the Bluebonnet and Yellow Rose book clubs will be discussing “The Situation Room”. Toward the end of the month, in keeping with Halloween, Random Happenings is taking an Austin Ghost Tour.
