President’s Letter November 2025
Dear Austin Newcomers Club Members,
November is a month filled with cooler weather, pretty leaves and gratitude. We are all so fortunate to live in such a wonderful country and city! I feel so blessed to be close to family and to have made so many family-like friends since my move to Austin.
Austin Newcomers Club has so much happening that we should all be grateful for the amazing volunteers who organize the events and help keep the Club running smoothly. Check out the Calendar! I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each of you. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and support are what make Austin Newcomers Club such a vibrant and fun community.
I encourage all members to think about organizing other activities that would encourage others to join us. A few that I have been asked about recently are Bridge, Bunco, Mexican Train, Crafts. We are open to giving these, and any other ideas you may have, a try. We have a great team to help you get started and support you through the process.
Every event we organize, and every new idea we bring to life is made possible because of your collective effort. Whether you’ve contributed your time, shared your talents, or simply brought your positive spirit to our gatherings, you’ve helped make a real difference. It’s truly inspiring to see how everyone supports one another and brings such great spirit to everything we do. Whether you’ve been here for a long time or just joined recently, you’re an important part of Austin Newcomers Club— and I’m so happy you’re here.
Thank you for continuing to uphold the values that make Austin Newcomers Club so special — teamwork, friendship, and a shared passion for making everyone feel welcome to the Austin Community. I’m truly grateful to be part of this wonderful, friendly Club.
