Come meet a true local hero and hear about the all-volunteer rescuers who assisted with the flood victims last summer! TEXSAR is a Texas-based, all-volunteer search and rescue organization dedicated to helping bring missing individuals home safely. TEXSAR deploys only at the request of local and state public safety and emergency management officials, working alongside responding agencies to provide highly trained ground search teams, K9 resources, and disaster response support at no cost to requesting agencies. Through community support and donor generosity, TEXSAR remains ready to respond whenever and wherever help is needed.
Our Member Luncheon is Wednesday March 18th, with social time starting at 10:30am. The location is the Balcones Country Club, 8600 Balcones Club Dr. Join us for a delicious lunch of fresh rolls, salad, entree and dessert , and Coffee or ice tea along with the opportunity to hear our guest speaker!
