Our Club would be nothing without our wonderful volunteers! Members who volunteer to be on the Board of Directors and as Interest Group Chairs are the Heroes of the Club.
During the month of March, you may receive a call from the Nominating Committee asking if you will help the Club stay lively by volunteering to take a position on the Board. If you don’t get a call, feel free to call to volunteer! Our Board of Directors is supposed to change every year, although some Board members opt stay on for 2 years. The open positions come with training by the previous position holder, and you will always have my support with any other help you may need. There is a commitment to attend the Board Meeting on the first Wednesday morning of the month and report any changes or issues related to your position, plus you get breakfast! We usually have only 6- 7 meetings a year as listed on the Member Calendar.
