Each year every ANC member/household has one vote to approve the ANC Board of Directors and Standing Committee as a group for the coming year.
The proposed ANC Board and Standing Committee for the 2026/2027 year are:
- President: Ann Rice
- 1st VP Membership Director, Interim: Gail Wilson
- Secretary: Kerry Lannin/Susan Rule (shared position)
- Treasurer: Amy Colton
- Interest Group Director: Joann Schauf
- Communications Director: Debbie Peterson/Jerry Tallinger (shared position)
- Parliamentarian: To be appointed by incoming President
- Member-at-Large: Beverly Tallinger (Past President)
- Publicity Coordinator: Pattie Webster-Schieck
- Calendar Coordinator: Pam McAndrews
On April 30, 2026, each member will be sent a ballot form electronically to cast one vote with a choice of FOR, AGAINST, or ABSTAIN. Each member/household will be given 7 days to vote.
If you are unable to vote electronically during that week, you may email your Proxy Vote indicating For, Against, or Abstain to Communications@austinnewcomers.com before May 6, 2026. Please include your ANC Member Name as listed in the Directory and your phone number.
On May 7, 2026, the vote will be tallied. The result will be announced and a list with names, titles, alias emails, and phone numbers will be sent out by May 14th.
